The website marketing strategy that generates traffic and makes money with your website starts with a clear approach from the beginning! Specifically you follow a proven method of reaching people who will buy your product or service.
Keyword Marketing: The Beginning
Without the correct keywords–the visitors don’t come! Keywords are one of the ‘roadsigns’ that direct internet searchers to your website. Proper keyword marketing research is vital to any website trying to optimize for search engine rankings. Having your website link come up on the first (SERP)search engine results page is essential if you want those internet searchers to find it!
You want to find and use relevant keywords to your website with at least 1000 searches per month and low competition to be effective. Better if the keyphrase has over 3000 searches per month and only a few competitors all the better. However if the keyphrase has 100,000 searches, it will likely have heaps of competitors providing information. You can take them, but it makes a lot of sense to go for keyphrases with less competition.

Website Content: The Real Relevant Information
Your website should offer valuable information to it’s readers. If it doesn’t–they don’t stay, come back or refer your site to other people. You want to gain credibility when marketing. Slapping any old thing up on your website in the attempt to sell your readers is not a good website marketing strategy and they will read right through this leaving your website just as quickly as finding it.
Your type of website will depend on the amount of content you have to offer. Generally your guide should be something like–if you have more than 30 web-pages–you should have a website. Under 30 pages–you should also consider a blog or blogs. Web-pages are static, generally, because you can have a blog attached to the website. Blogs have renewing information main-pages, but also have static pages.
Another important point on this website marketing strategy is that blogs are seriously popular with search engines! That popularity is due to the re-newing nature of blog-posts. Search engines like new ‘content.’ With the large websites–the more web-pages you have with quality content–the higher your pagerank and therefore popularity.
Based on my experience you need to keep adding and improving your web-pages to maintain pagerank. Whereas blog-posts are or should be done at least weekly–if not daily!
With either a blog or website you optimize your pages, articles and posts with keywords and anchor links to your products, services or other information sites so search engines will index them. You want to convert your traffic into revenue by monetizing your website.
There is various ways to do this, but the most popular is with affiliate marketing and selling adspace. Concentrate on optimizing your website so that it gets indexed and ranked high up in search engines. Once you have achieved this, you can benefit from monetizing your website traffic.
More Information Marketing Methods
Squidoo Lenses are single webpages as are Hubpages. Both are used as a website marketing strategy because they are interactive, where fellow writers and site-visitors can leave a comment same as at a blog-post. You can use these two sites to achieve the same results as article writing. Google and other search engines love these sites and will usually rank them high therefore getting you tons of organic traffic to your sites.
Article Writing is a very powerful website marketing strategy and a great way to get traffic to your marketing links. Articles are ‘content’ and therefore they also rank high in search engines with proper keyword use.
However I have found that all article directories are not equal! What I mean here is that they generally, don’t ‘present’ your article in the best or most favorable way. If you key-in ‘article directories’ on a Google search–you’ll bring up hundreds of directories with thousands of articles on every possible category.
So far–so good, what else you’ll notice is a magnitude of advertising. Both internal and external ads. Ok what’s wrong with is that if people are distracted away from your article, you are not going to get a great click-rate on your article links.
I have found one–only one–article directory that does not have any ads on the article page. This article directory is run by a forward thinking article-writer. I guess you gotta be an article-writer to appreciate the problems associated with this website marketing strategy!
Anyway if you go to the above link you’ll see how the article page is laid-out. Also you will find you can add images, audio, and videos to these articles. Try doing that at EzineArticles. The important thing about this article directory is that well-written articles get results. Here again the search engines like images and videos.
Email Marketing: Maintain Subscriber Contact
Opt in boxes are another effective website marketing strategy that many people ignore. When creating subscriber boxes, the less information you ask of people the better. Offering them a free theme-related ebook or report in exchange for their name and email address usually works the best.
Newsletter marketing is the end purpose of having a subscriber-box. You can effectively builds trust and relationships with your readers along with offering updates and promotional messages about your business. Readers are more likely to buy from someone who has been keeping them up to date on things. You will be able to source much information for your newsletters from the article directories I mentioned above.
Autoresponders go hand-in-hand with newsletters and email marketing. Get repeated exposure to your business or website through the use of autoresponders. When a prospect enters their information into an opt in form, they will automatically start to receive email messages from you through your autoresponder (once set up). Email marketing is a great way to build trust and follow up with your prospects.

Today a key factor in driving traffic to your sites is by using social bookmarking and social media sites. The likes of Twitter, Facebook and MySpace are very important social networking arenas. Twitter, which is a mini-blog site and works much different to the others is very powerful place to pull your message out with your site link and get excellent numbers of back-links. These help your pagerank and that helps get you in front of searchers seeking what you have on offer.
All these social sites can be used and social bookmarking sites like Stumbleupon, Delicious, Digg, Technorati, and Propeller to just mention a few will all aid your cause of reaching more people.

Network Marketing Training: A New Standard In Online Training
Old Style Network Marketing Training No More
The Network Marketing Training style of the previous decades is dead! Web2 Network Marketing has arrived. It has really put paid to old style MLM methods!
Attending the opportunity meetings and training sessions as well as help from sponsors were the network marketing training standard of past years. That style of training took the industry to a 95% failure rate. A key feature of why that style of training failed for most aspiring networkers was the old model training modus operandi. Methods like ‘making-a-list’, ’show-the-plan’ and buying useless opportunity leads.
The extremely unpopular ‘make a list’ method of listing everyone like family and friends and then setting out to get them into your home business was the most foolish marketing approach of all. ‘Showing the plan’ to disinterested people was just as silly and a long way from reality. What person cares about the plan if the business is of no interest!
Being on the phone all day (and night) trying to talk to opportunity leads was another unproductive method of the old model mlm. The lead company would sell the same leads three or four times. You’d know this because the ‘lead’ would tell you–’You’re the fouth one to call about a home biz, I’m not interested.’ These companies got their leads by offering a free this or that and captured the leads details in exchange. These people were never prospects and that’s why opportunity leads were a useless waste of time and enormous waste of your money. The lead business seemed to be a great source of income–for the so-called Gurus!
New style network marketing training is the ‘change’ the industry needs to grow, so the demise of old model mlm training is no loss!

If the pioneers of change in network marketing hadn’t of made their move when they did–someone else would of stepped up! But Ann Sieg stepped up with her ground-breaking revelations in The Rengade Network Marketer and Mike Dillard had earlier put out his Magnetic Sponsoring ebook, both publications delivered similar messages and are part of network marketing history. These Guys were true leaders of change.
Interestingly other high performing network marketers did go online around 2000-2001 and made their mark generating leads for their opportunity. I’ve been on the internet since 1999 and I think that’s right–they may of emerged a little later.
These Guys used splash pages on the web just for lead generation and made money from each lead by selling CD and reports. Many people who were interested in work-from-home were not about to attend an opportunity meeting, but happy to part with up to $50 for the CD information.
Web2.0 social networking now has a huge impact on network marketing training along with training for all internet businesses. The skills involved in social networking–once gained can be used in any online business. Lets face it every offline business needs an internet presence.
The New Way For Networkers–Attraction Marketing
Do you think you can provide quality content information for your site? Information in the form of articles, blogs, website pages, and others. If you believe you can–you still may not wish to do that, because you can outsource that work and better use your time to maintain contacts. So the answer to that question is always–yes!
